Holiday Cheer! The Mafia Way.

Apologies addicts, I haven't been around much lately. I'm behind on my holiday shopping! I promise to play a few games and catch up on the gossip.

The great thing about our favorite Jessica, is she always brings holiday cheer! This is an except from an email she wrote that was in my inbox.

"So Thank You for being so pathetic. Thank You for spending your Friday and Saturday nights playing an internet game. Thank You for spreading rumors that are 10 miles from the truth. Thank You for backing down when you dont have backup. Thank You for not having your own life so that you must meddle in ours. Thank You for not having the balls to post this from your real account. Thank You for having such low self esteem that you must pick on others. Thank You for being so miserable with your life that you intentionally try to screw up others. As much as a couple of people on this application dont like me, Thank You for always being the greater evil. Thank You for being so ugly inside and out that you feel like you can bully people on the internet."

There are many things I find interesting about this little rant. The main one being the hypocritical nature of it all. It takes a special person not to realize by simply hitting the send button they are guilty of the exact focus of the rant.

This email was intended for Katie. I know I haven't been around, but I thought this hatchet was buried ages ago. Guess not! Bring on the drama, ladies.

No wonder JRG and Mary don't get along. They are cut from the same cloth.

Greetings addicts.

Cyber terrorism has hit mafia! Maybe that's a little extreme. Jess randomly banning 50 players isn't exactly a world crisis. Even if some people acted as if it was the Apocalypse.

The story goes something like this. While Katie, Allison and Phil D were banned, they would randomly be unbanned before they had served their time. At first other mods thought it was a mistake. As it continued to happen, slowly the mods admitted someone was purposely unbanning the criminals.

Several former moderators still have their moderator tag. Including Jess and Damon. Damon was spotted in a game recently. Some thought maybe it was him. Seemed reasonable. He was the mod that came up with the having a bad day defense.

One thing you can always depend on is Jess not thinking through things fully. Shorty before the random bans started to occur, Jess played a 24 player game. Many, if not all, players in that game turned up banned. And suspiciously Jess had been in that game only minutes before the bans kicked in, but no one else had been there in hours.

Oh Jess. When are you going to learn? If you want to be a proper cyber bully and not be caught, you must cover your tracks. Maybe she can take lessons from Kallison.

Don't worry, addicts. Siqi did finally take away Jess' mod powers. Ranban09 is a thing of the past.

All Hail the Virgin Mary

All this drama has me practically salivating. So lets skip the formalities and get straight to the dirt.

The Kallison Report has gone viral. JRG and Kris are going head to head. Jess quit mafia. There is an upcoming mafia wedding (and by default divorce). But none of this is very interesting compared to the return of bloody Mary.

There's the long drawn out dry post in The Mafia Drudge Report. Yes, she told the internet her life story. And yes, no one cared enough to respond. After the lack of enthusiasm regarding her yawn inducing autobiography, she matriculated to MORG to throw her lightening bolts of judgement upon everyone.

All of you can read those posts yourself. They contain nothing the mafia community hasn't already heard.

What you may not know is where the infamous fake baby rumor started. In the rumor starters defense he had every reason to believe Mary was being untruthful. Kris and Mary had broken up. She was heartbroken and appeared desperate. Pining to be loved and supported. We all remember the fake engagement(s) and ring. Kris was beginning to move on, or at least he was making it appear that way. Pining over one of Mary's favorites while Mary was helpless from a distance.

Then it just seemed too convenient that Mary would turn up pregnant. So he told several people he believed the pregnancy was fake. Time passed and the rumor was never addressed. And then again it seemed all to convenient that the baby was no longer around. Any man in that situation would likely question the validity of that pregnancy. It takes a coward to tell people from the internet that you believe it is fake and then not take responsibility for starting the rumors.

Sounds like a story of two star crossed lovers pulled straight from the latest hit melodrama. It's just another day of mafia.

You must be wondering why I sat on this information for so long. Believe it or not I don't post much of what shows up in my inbox or is sent to me via direct message on Twitter. Until recently the Mary babydrama was lost in mafia's past. Mary herself thrust the issue back into the forefront and as everyone's favorite Gossip Girl, it's my job to set the record straight.

Greetings addicts. It's always a sad day when one of mafia's finest calls it quits. Well...not always.

Our favorite initialed Jessica has retired. At first I was a little sad. She was always entertaining and brought a degree of drama to games and mafia groups that few have been able to achieve. But then I realized the potential of a JRG free mafia world. Not only was she a pro drama started, she was a pro account faker. Emerson Parker and the Mya accounts were brilliant!

So don't worry fellow addicts. I'm sure JRG will be behind one or more of the many new fakes that will soon be inundating the application. And the best part....she doesn't have to pretend to be the nice girl who is always the victim when she's hiding behind someone else's face!

I’m writing this to say that I am retiring from mafia, yet again. However, this time, I’m leaving without an ounce of regret. Although I have played for over 2 years and have met some amazing people that I wont soon forget, I feel absolutely nothing for this game.

I know that I’ve been busy this semester and have not been around much, but the few games I happen to make it into, I end up either idling out or being killed in the first two days because I refuse to join the chaos of voting out those that are not liked, regardless of their roles.

The two biggest occurrences that have helped me make my decision have happened in the last few days. Earlier this week, I was in a game where a picture of a former player was posted and then speculated that she was pregnant. I was appalled because these people used to be her friends. Secondly, last night, in a game a clear was being voted and came out to say they were the clear but because they weren’t liked, the crowd would rather vote her than the mafia, it ended in the doctor being sniped. Both instances were guided by the same group that has continued to ruin this game for many.

I've met some great people that I hope to keep in contact with and I've learned many things that I won’t soon forget. I have deleted all but a select few players that I have grown the closest to or have met in real life. Just because you were deleted, please don’t think that our friendship hasn’t meant a great deal to me. I don’t want to find out in 6 months that people have been posting my pictures making speculations about me b/c they’re so bored with their own lives, they have to make stuff up about someone elses.

Mafia has brought out the worst in me, and i cannot handle it anymore.

Greetings addicts. I know. I haven't updated in ages. Mafia has become so boring and I rarely get a chance to grace the application with my presence. I have been trying to keep in contact via Twitter in lieu of my little blog. But lets be honest, it's just not the same! 140 characters is so limiting.

Okay, to the point of this update. Our favorite blond Aussie and her fairly worthless sidekick have started a what they call a "mafia style survivor game."

Don't worry! If you are having a WTF moment, you are not alone. I know blonds are a little slow, but why she and her confidant thought this was a good idea I will never be able to explain. Especially when you look at the participating addicts. Oh my!

Some of my favorite participating addicts include Jeff the moderator (his fight against Facebook was exceedingly entertaining. Well done!), Jared the slow musician (if you call these tragedies music), Devii the fake that plays every application , Clare the takeeverythingfartooseriously drama starter and Jeffrey the newcomer (he's so cute! But girls (and boys), sorry, my sources say he's taken.). The rest are worthless but should make fabulous pawns.

What is to come of this can only be drama in its best form. I will be watching the drama unfold and enjoying every moment of it.

The Lone Star state sounds lonely.

Good day my fellow mafia addicts. I have quite a bit of gossip to catch you up on, so I will just skip the formalities and get right to it.

Nikky and Little Hutch just can't keep themselves out of my inbox. Questions are everywhere. Does Nikky have another lover on Epic Mafia? What is the deal with Nikky's mood swings? What is this I hear about role sharing between the lovebirds? MGG has independent confirmation that Nikky does in fact have someone else over on Epic Mafia. I wonder if she will send them $100 in cash so they can come see her. MGG thinks Little Hutch would be wise to get out of this mess. Maybe he can take some advice from his older brother and look for someone from Texas.

Speaking of Texas, what is the deal with all of this drama coming out of the North Texas meet? Sure, drama comes from every meet. This is a bunch of mafia players meeting. There is obviously going to be drama. But usually it's good drama. Who slept with who kind of drama. No such luck from the North Texas meet. Just a bunch of hot air over role sharing on blogTV. MGG is bored!

An interesting trend due to one of the North Texas attendees has developed. Lots of gossip flying around about her personal life. Husband, children, alleged indiscretions. Who knows? What I do know is alot of people are nice to her to her face, then turn around and trash her behind her back. Now come on mafia addicts, we have a better history than this. Don't be afraid to say what everyone is thinking.

Good day addicts. I received what only can be described as a disturbing email. It seems we have another mafia player on our hands that can't keep their pants on when the cameras are flashing. No one ever learns, do they?

Our latest offender is looking rather green. Rumor has it, he posted this (MGG censored it for your viewing pleasure) as his profile picture while a moderator was in the room. Looks like Rosie is as useless as everyone seems to think.

I'm just finishing up a round of our favorite guilty pleasure. Check your dashboard, fanatics, which one am I? Keep guessing. Or better yet, keep guessing wrong =)

Is it just me or is anyone else put off by pSycho Stefanie's seeming inability to not start hundreds of games at a time? Stef, you do realize you're forcing many unsuspecting mafia goers to look at your, well, not so cute face? Not even JennBunny would warrant that with a heart.

Is the Mafia Civil War over? Old school players and old school haters are as chummy as....RSJ and the mafia confessions thread. Not to worry, Miss RSJ, I of course wouldn't be caught dead with any of those suitors.

With the influx of older mafia players seem relatively calm in MafiaLand. Perhaps its the great divide between the Fantastic Four that is keeping the peace. Although, does anyone really believe this great divide is well, great, or even a divide? MGG is skeptical.

We all saw how well Ranier's entrance from Epic went. Will the introduction of the high and mighty Epic Mafia Calvary go over just as well? If not, may the lord bless the moderators. They might have more than a handful, and that's not considering the potential upheaval that villainous Mourad could cause. I bet you're dying to know who made that decision. Let me know.

I apologize greatly, as I've merely begun to just touch the tip of the iceberg, stay tuned - you're in for quite a treat.

Welcome to February. The month everyone pretends to be in love. But is there any true love brewing between mafia goers?

Little Hutch is making a comeback. Well, if you consider being dragged in on Nikky's dirty coat tails a comeback. Did Little Hutch not learn anything from his big brother? Mafia lovers from across the pond are nothing more than an illusion. Of course, it's all fun and games until the Hutch comes to visit and ends up in a different American's bed. Poor Nikky. MGG almost has pity for her.

Speaking of being blind, has anyone heard about the star crossed lovers? Yes, the high school student and her janitor. Mafia players have stooped low in the past (that's you Jess!), but the high school janitor. Well that's just plain dirty.

So addicts, what's the answer to my question? Are any two mafia goers really in love? Maybe so. But even if they are, it will all come crashing down like a game with an idle cop.

Greetings mafia misfits. Long time no gossip.

So I was wondering what happened to facebook mafia? The answer obviously is… Epic Mafia. Some oldies but goodies seem to have been showing their faces there for quite a while. Some just can’t seem to bring about the brain power required to play it and are still stuck in facebook mafia. The question is… where are you? And more importantly, where am I? Oh who cares where I am when you still don’t know who I am.

Of course the mafia rumor lines have been lighting up lately...King Haymon is on his 100th mafia love interest. Poor Mary. If only she knew. Jess White seems to be a social climbing lover. Think about it. She wanted (and had her way with) some of the biggest egos in our beloved mafia... and now someone in the UK. Now if you don't follow all the rumor mills like I do, you might have no idea what I'm talking about. But our favourite mafia tramp seems to have fallen in love with Epic's Public Enemy #1.

Another one bites the dust.

Greetings Mafia Addicts! So much has gone on lately, I hardly know where to begin! Let's start with our favourite blonde turned brunette shall we? Wait, there are so many... Last I checked it was Jess and Kris, but now its Jess and Phil? How many "Jess &'s" does that make it? Quite a few if my memory serves me... I can't even count them all on one hand. That aside, she looked mighty cozy in her latest video blog, snuggled quite close to the latest moderator to hit the dust, Kris. Interesting. I wonder what the Aussie thinks of this?

In the past two weeks there were certainly some rumblings... babies...fetuses...abortions. I admit to be confused, but thanks to my fans, I got a full sampling of what was going on. Here's the scoop, if you don't already know it, that is. J said she was pregnant with M's baby, much to A's annoyance. (to say the least). Doesn't she have a boyfriend anyway? People took sides in this pregnancy "civil war" but someone finally cracked the case and cracked Jeanetta. What happened? In short, M will not be a proud papa anytime soon (though, would he have been a proud papa in the first place? I doubt it, with all the disdain towards J). J still claims to be pregnant, just not with M's baby. But did it cause lingering trouble in paradise for A&M? Only time will tell.

A turnaround for Michael Williams? Lately this trouble maker seems to have turned over a new leaf. This, however, is not as easy for me to decipher as the A & J & M baby saga, so I'll have to keep my eye out for a while.

Was there any scandalous behavior at the Detroit Meet? I've yet to hear of any, except for that which was mentioned above... much to everyone's surprise A showed her face, but only briefly, and turned up her nose at the group. Now that she has M in tow, does she think she is better than everyone? And why was she so rude to the Kris turned Phil lover in a game in days past? It seems that someone is riding on a very high horse, and maybe it's just me, but it won't be long before the horse throws her off. Or at least I hope so.

Another unofficial meet is coming up. Shawn is once again headed to Virginia to see Katie, and dragging Allison and Makoto with him. Without a doubt, juicy gossip is all but certain. How many video blogs can Allison make out of this visit? And if you thought the chemistry between Makoto and Allison was intense before, how will it be after all this time apart? I simply can't wait to find out. Keep me informed.

Greetings addicts. I'm sure everyone has heard about the latest onslaught of drama, but if you haven't, don't worry. MGG is here to catch you up.

Dani, the cleavage bearing, naked picture toting, former Coggles and more currently Kris internet fling , has been using fake pictures. As if the YouTube videos that just used her voice weren't strange enough, the ever brilliant Dani failed to use fake pictures on her okcupid account, that has of course, mysteriously disappeared. It seems the real Dani isn't a slut. Or is she?

You must be wondering why this came to light now. Well, of course, it has to do with our favorite hair chameleon Jess. Who knew Kris was even worth the effort? One ruined friendship later, maybe Kris and Jess will actually work out. Oh, that's a funny thought.

Battle Royale

Greeting addicts. It seems like a battle has broken out among some of mafia's favourite bitches. Some are old, yet renewed battles. Others are brand spanking new.

Anyone else find it amusing that Baily thinks anyone cares that she is quitting....again? The self proclaimed Mafia Goddess has "quit" at least 3 or 4 times by now, and every time she comes crawling back for a few games, she feels the need to make yet another big deal that she is leaving. Maybe this time she won't come back, as she has made a lovely video for us all to enjoy.

Round 1: Baily vs. The World. In true Baily form, she just can't quietly exit stage left. While she claims to be tired of the drama, and is going to take the high road, she certainly leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth with that video. The subtle but low blow at Jess, Katie and Allison, and blocking people will do nothing but cause yet more drama. Not that MGG is surprised. Of course the forever wanna be actress thrives on drama.

Round 2: Allison vs. Jeanetta. This round is one of MGG's favourites. At the current moment, Allison has the upper hand. Was her latest video rant a knockout? Jeanetta has yet to get back up and continue to fight. Has Jeanetta admitted defeat? We're all waiting to find out.

Round 3: Katie vs. Kris. What would mafia drama be without YouTube videos? Katie posted this gem. It seems that MGG isn't the only one confused by the fact Kris is now a moderator. Sadly, as long as Kris has moderating powers, he will be winning this round.

Round 4: Dani vs. The Name Callers. Although Dani has tried to explain herself, no one really understands why she would use a naked picture of herself that she took the time to edit as her profile picture. It doesn't take much brain power to recognize that if you do that, you are going to be called a whore, or slut, or other names. She's trying to act like the victim, but really, the only victims were the people who had to look at that picture.

Round 5: Nikky vs. Kristen. This is a battle, that just won't die. The always neutral Will Scruggs has even weighed in on the situation. It seems clear that Kristen won this battle weeks ago, yet Nikky continues to fight on.

Spring fever? No, just a normal day on Facebook Mafia.

What does a moderator do?

Happy Saturday addicts. Doesn't this seem like de ja vu? We're back to the long standing question of, what does a moderator in fact do?

There are at least 2 new moderators in town. Kris and Wes. I know, I just laughed along with you. Kris has claimed that he is going to put the asshole that he is aside to get mafia back to the way it used to be. Kris, do you realize that you weren't even around during the glory days of mafia? So essentially, he failed on his mission before he started. But it's not like Kris has any ability to follow through on a project. Anyone remember the drama filled, illegitimate Mafia Hall of Fame? It gets a little tough, and Kris just dropped the entire project. Anyone have any guesses how long Kris will actually stay around? I give him a few months, at the most.

In other notable news, has Jess changed her hair color again? She must have, because she's moved on to yet another mafia man. Who is it? Of course it's our favorite moderator Kris. Jess is now contemplating going to the Detroit meet up. Will she hook up with yet another mafia player? MGG would recommend against it. It didn't go so well last time, did it Jess.

A and M....everyone is trying to figure out their status. Don't keep us in the dark, we all want to know. L thinks she's clever by using HTML. Too bad everyone is sick of it. MW and M seem to have renewed their public brawls. Boys, at least make it interesting this time. A blasting J on YouTube. D sharing naked pictures, and using edited versions for her profile picture. Yet she still complains about getting creepy messages from old men. MGG doesn't feel bad for her.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

The Ohio trip has come and gone. And let me tell you, the aftermath, is quite interesting.

The Good. It seems like in general, everyone had a good time. There are pictures as well as YouTube videos of Jess and Jeanetta, as well as Allison and Makoto. Everyone looks happy.

The Bad. It looks like, the 4 spent no time together. And when did Shawn get involved? MGG thought Shawn and Jess were not on good terms.

The Ugly. Have you seen the YouTube videos? Jess apparently now dislikes Allison. Sadly, the only reason she gave was she didn't liked to be walked on. MGG would love to know more about that. Allison and Makoto look rather cozy in the onslaught of videos of the two. One has to wonder if this is why Jeanetta and Makoto are at each others throats.

MGG can't wait to see how this all plays out.

Quick Update...

Greetings addicts. I am so behind! I have all kinds of emails to sort through, so let me give you the highlights.

It seems like the newbies have brought to light yet another old argument. To lie or not to lie? Really, is this even a debate? The pioneer of the no lie crew, Adam LaRose, would even disagree with the newbs way of playing this game. Lying is part of the game. Not that I'm shocked, but out favorite insecure high schooler is causing problems again. Too bad she's not even worth the effort to share the on goings though. It's been a somber week around our favorite Facebook application. Many, including myself, have come to the conclusion that there is no saving mafia. Cheaters and abusive players can be dealt with. The hacking of games, cannot, unless Siqi makes an effort to fix things. And lets be honest with ourselves, Siqi isn't going to do anything.

There are small rumblings of fighting back. So far, these tactics have proved to do nothing but fail. The more the good guys fight back, the more the bad guys are going to enjoy it.

So until Mafia is back to even a glimmer of its' August self, you won't see me in any games.

Greetings addicts. It seems that we, again, have a naked mafia player on our hands.

Gossip Girl wasn't shocked by the latest girl with some inappropriate photos floating around. Of course, this is the girl who just a few short days ago claimed she was leaving mafia, and she wanted people to stop talking about her life. Well, Jeanetta, this isn't the way to stop the gossip.

According to my latest informant, J has shared her little more than soft core porn pictures with several mafia men. Namely, Shawn and Kyle. Now, last I checked, these upstanding citizens were connected to mafia women. So why are they receiving inappropriate picture of Makoto's sloppy seconds? That's something Katie J and Mel might want to look into.

Well, on the positive side of things, looks like Allison and Makoto have the all clear.

How to cheat, and get away with it, 101.

Greetings fellow residents of Mafianzia. Seems like there is some trouble brewing down in Newbland, and it's about to boil over.

Most of this, drama if you will, revolves around cheating. MSN role sharing, ala Zhong (come on newbs, you didn't think you were doing something original, did you?), has made a comeback, in a big way. Of course, Zhong became a moderator, so you don't expect the mods to actually do something about it, do you? Of course not. The mods will argue there's no proof, and that it's outside the game, therefore they can't really moderate the behavior. I guess that's the reasoning they use when they ban people for their profile picture. Please, they simply choose not to address this problem. Which, in reality, is fine, just don't insult us mere players intelligence by pretending to do something about it.

At least with MSN cheating it's somewhat hidden. Now the next problem is done completely in the open. Yet, again, the mods make no effort to address it. There are certain duos that have made pacts not to vote for each other. Again, an old problem, rearing its' ugly head. There were many who did this in the early stages of the game, official or not. Saskia and Jai, Allison and Shawn, for example. But for the old schoolers, this "pact" was broken when it would affect the outcome of the game.

With the newbs, this is not the case. The latest (and most publicized) incident involved Matty and Karen, two players that have such a pact. Matty threw a game because he refused to vote for Karen, allowing the mafia to win. Of course, Matty and Karen see nothing wrong with this. And apparently neither do the mods, because Matty never faced the consequences for his cheating. I hate to agree with Pia, but she is correct, you are an idiot Matty.

And you know what else makes Matty's IQ less then average? He had the nerve to post a thread asking if he should leave. Of course the people who respond are going to beg you to stay. But not Gossip Girl. I need an "out with the cheaters" t shirt.

Life is fragile and absurd....as is everyone's status in mafia. Between the Facebook message blocks and the overzealous moderators, anyone who is anyone has been banned in some fashion. Every game there's someone complaining about being messaged blocked (I mean really, cry me a river, quit messaging). Now it seems the moderators have begun banning people for all kind of outrageous behavior.

Our favorite naked mafia male, Dave, claims he was banned for fake role claiming cop. So, he lied. Did I miss something, or isn't that what mafia is about?

Ifer was banned for grudge voting and accusing the ever lovely Donna Karen of cheating. Please mafia addicts, find me someone who has never grudge voted. As much as I hate to defend Avril wannabe Ifer, she was certainly not treated fairly.

As for message banning, I have no sympathy for those people. How does someone like Sarah Mac, who has played more games than anyone using the application, avoid a message ban, but a bunch of players down in newbland constantly have a problem? It seems like yet another difference between newb and advanced games. Newbs, take some friendly advice, stop messaging. It makes the game more fun.

Neil hasn't been spotted since his disappearance to go on his gambling world tour. So is Siqi's Cat actually Neil? The Cat seems to be up on some old school lingo, specifically the Adam LaRose swearing lingo. Early in his career, Siqi's Cat also assured his mafia partners that he wasn't a new player, but was actually a "top player."

I'll give it to Siqi's Cat. He has the Neil ego down. But, unless Neil is a changed man, Siqi's Cat isn't an asshole. A trademark of Neil's reign.

Trolls are way more fun when you don't know who they are.

Lets take a walk down memory lane and revisit some of our favorite, and for the most part, forever anonymous trolls. Sally Blue Hair was one of the first fakes to hit the mafia scene. Many people thought it was a real person, only to find out months later it was a fake of a very prominent mafia player. There are of course the many faces of Dhruv, and new kids on the block Siqi's Cat and Cupids Chokehold.

As amazing as all of those trolls are, Mafia Troll has set the standard. Why you ask? Mafia Troll isn't Badih Fa abusive, or a chearter a la Dhruv. But even Badih and Dhruv haven't managed to ruin games to the point that MT has. The ever so lovely MT is spreading knowledge, and even a nifty link, so that people can make games that have one minute days, or even one week days.

In general, that's not a bad thing, it gives the masses more optinos. The real problem is people joining these games have no idea whether there in a three minute turbo game, or one week manipulated game.

Of course, Brad has threatened action. But lets be honest, there's nothing he can do. And really, does anyone believe Siqi will bother trying to fix the problem? He's to busy on the ever so worthless Friends For Sale application. MT has mad a fatal error though. Many know the true identity of the trouble maker. Maybe Brad will punish the face behind MT. Gossip Girl awaits the and long, boring post in the group about it.

Happy President’s Day addicts. Appropriate enough for President’s Day, it seems that some don’t appreciate the freedom those in Europe and The States enjoy.

Mafia has their very own dictators! And no, I’m not talking about Shawn. Hitler and even Castro have been spotted playing mafia together lately. An unlikely friendship? They have joined forces in an attempt to take on Sam the mod, and discrimination towards profile pictures in general. But, Rene, aka Hitler, has been zetad in almost every game s/he has played. Unfair? Is a picture of Hitler really that offensive? Where is a Jew when I need them?

So what does this all mean for mafia? This really brings the question of grudge voting to the forefront. People will preach against it, but as soon as Hitler or Fidel lands in their game, it’s perfectly find to zeta them Day 1. Hypocritical? Of course. Shocking? Of course not.

Greetings Valentines. It's the morning after the sweetest day of the year. But, not all mafia players are feeling the love. Sugar hangover?

Pia hasn't really been having a good month. And it seems the happy holiday didn't change that. First, their was a fake Pia account. Then, her real account gets deleted. But is that any excuse for her piss poor attitude as of late?

Well, lets be honest, it's not just lately that she's had this attitude. Just for kicks, lets take a peek into the way Pai plays mafia. While she's no old schooler, she knows proper etiquette. So what does she do? She votes the host Day 1. Talk about a faux pas! Did she really expect not to get attacked? And then when she does, she goes on the defensive. Good morning addicts. Did you hear, Dayton, Ohio is the place to be?

It's the place to be if you want to see mafia drama turn into real life drama. Some of our favorite trouble makers are having their very own meet up. The on again, off again, mafia couple, Jeanetta and Makoto, are heading east to visit Allison and Jess. Love square? Allison and Makoto have been a little cosy in games lately. And since when does Allison even like Jess and Jeanetta? Is she putting up with them just for Makoto? And what does Katie think about all of this? Makoto is visiting Allison, but not her? The drunken cat fights should be quite amazing. Gossip Girl can't wait to see the pictures.

Even if Katie is upset by this Dayton extravaganza, she'll have someone to comfort her. That same weekend, Shawn is heading to Virginia to meet Katie. Will they work in real life? Or will they fail like every other mafia couple? We'll just have to wait and see.

Forget the fake Nikky. Gossip Girl has an inside contact. Lets talk about the real Nikky.

We all know Nikky is a mafia attention whore. But who knew that extended to real life? According to C, Nikky once claimed to be chased by the paps in Paris because she looks like Jessica Alba (Nikky clearly has never actually seen a picture of Jessica). She also claims to be a (former) model, whose favorite thing to do is walk the runway. Oh, and we've all heard Nikky say journalism is her life. Obviously she quit modeling because she no longer wants to be known for her amazing looks, but for her equally amazing brains.

It seems like she's making headway, being the managing editor of her school newspaper in her podunk New Hampshire town. According to those at Nikky's school, no one actually reads the paper, but really, you can't expect people to read in a town of less than 30,000. Will Nikky ride The Tide to Newsweek? Doubtful. But, hey, I guess a girl can dream.

So what does this all mean for mafia? Seems like Nikky's reign is over, people have found out they don't like the real Nikky. So move over bitch, there's a new queen in town.

Have you seen the latest rage? It's from a very unlikely trio.

Apparently, mafia players do not have enough outlets to chat (has anyone counted the number of mafia groups lately?). To remedy this problem, our three favorite mafia bitches, Katie, Nikky and Allison, have come together in an unlikely alliance to bring us a Facebook Mafia Yuku board.

Has anyone ever experienced a game with Nikky and Allison? Talk about a cat fight. And you thought the days of Allison and Baily were bad. Nikky and Allison agree on nothing, except apparently, this Yuku board. The back story? No one seems to know. Maybe Katie is being the voice of reason? But if Katie is Allison, the Yuku board crashing and burning in a few weeks.

So enjoy it while you can. And a word to the wise, keep up with the board. Nothing is more entertaining than a good cat fight.

Do you love me? or love me not? Oh I am so swept up in Valentine's day fever Mafia Facebookers, I can hardly stand it. Who is your valentine, I'm dying to know. I know who mine is, but that's my secret and mine alone. Let me put the flowers away and pick up the petals and get back to the task at hand.

As disappointing as it is, I suppose one of the most hotly discussed people right now is Mr. Dhruv(Kesh) Rathod, disgusting as it (or do I mean he?) maybe. Why people put up with his hideous habit of multi accounting and cheating is beyond me. Why not vote him out day 1 of every game? Though, that would do nothing but boost his stats and the stats of his schizophrenic multiple personality alter egos. I implore you, citizens who reside in Apu's 7-11, put your foot down and be done with this. As I sit here, games fill and start, come and go, and his stats get better and better, and the cheating does not cease. Is it horrible of me to think that someone who has experienced such misfortune in the looks department should at least have something good to offer? A benevolent, charming, or witty personality perhaps? I think I might pity Rathod. Oh wait, no. Dhruv, Love him or Love him not?

Ms. Allison Warner, or is it Alita, or Al, or Alisonita. I give up, why the name change? Is it because you idolize Lorenita? Do you have naked pictures that a jaded mafia mate can post of you as well? You don't seem like an Alita to me. Why the name change, we're dying to know. Warner, Love her or Love her not?

The Estrada Clan. How many are there? Are they related? The Estrada Mafia for lack of a better witty nickname is an eternal mystery to myself and several of my loving readers. What kind of name is Pame, and will someone please tell me how to pronounce it. Enlightenment is necessary. Estradas, love them or love them not?

Message Limits. Oh dear god, what to do now. Many a complaint about this one. Although I doubt a grass roots effort to petition Facebook will do any good. The upside, maybe people won't message from the dead. Although I think this might as well cut down on gossip worthy insulting messages, thats unfortunate. I might shed a tear. I praise the powers that be that we still have the wall for insults and earth shattering gossip revelations. Message limits, I need not ask. Love them not.

Much to my surprise, this tell-all business comes quite naturally to me. The only thing that I cannot share is my identity. Greetings addicts. You remember the ever prominent mafia aristocracy, full of old schoolers and egos. This morning they should have woken up with a black eye and a hangover. While the old schoolers were taking a hit of their favorite drug, playing super swanky and exclusive mute mafia games, some new schoolers were fighting back.

Sounds like poor little Jimmy has run into the Alex's and Shawn's of the mafia world. I hate to break it to you, new schoolers, but, no matter how hard you try, you are still the new kids on the block. People are going to criticize you. People are going to vote you off day 1. People are going to ignore your suggestions in games. People are going to treat you like you don't exist.

But how long will this last? The aristocracy is fading. Their glory days are long gone. Why don't the new schoolers take advantage of this? If they continue to let the old schoolers run the show, they will.

The fake is never as good as the original. Generally cheap looking, poor quality and doesn't have a long shelf life. Fakes are a dime a dozen, and lack those special things that make the originals worthy of a fake. Fakes are not hard to spot, even when surrounded by the authentic.

Mafia has had an onslaught of fake accounts lately. Not trolls like Mafia Troll or Dumb Butt, but fake accounts of real people. The victims have not been isolated to one group. There has been a fake Alex, and fake Allison, as well as a fake Pia and fake Alita (which has been deleted).

Brad of course was all over this story. Banning right and left, reporting to Facebook, generally reminding people that he is there to assure mafia law is followed as he sees fit. And, as always, gossip girl thanks Brad for his dedication to such a worthy cause.

The real question we all want to know that answer to is, who is making these fake accounts? Clearly, it's not the same person (fake accounts spread over to many mafia cliques). Likely we will never know. But what's life without a little mystery.

Hello mafia facebookers. Have you heard the latest? Of course not, that's why you have me. This is the story of the e-whores. They all seem to take the same path in life. They start with Shawn, and end with a Hutch.

Once upon a time Baily and Shawn had an e-fling, love at first IM? So we thought. Then like a sale on 5th avenue, chaos hit and the Blacklist leader Beard turned across the ocean for comfort and ended up finding a new mafia love, a new kid on the block, Alex Hutch.

Shawn, being the macho mafia man he is, quickly moved on the the young and unaware Jess W. It was a turbulent ride, that ended as quickly as a Kallison mood swing. But Jess shook it off, changed her hair color, and turned to a Hutch. Little Hutch that is. Rumor has it, dirty pictures were even involved.

So here we have the tale of two e-loves that started with Shawn and ended with a hutch. But what about Shawn's current e-girl? Will Katie follow the current trend and fall for a Hutch? Baily and Hutch the elder are no longer, rumor has it he was just tired of waiting.....sometimes, timing is everything.

Hello mafia facebookers - have you heard? Allison and Katie are the same person. Oh, of course you did. We all did, months ago, and weeks ago. So it brings up the question, are they... or aren't they?

They AREN'T: Apparently disillusioned moderator and defender of the old school, Brad Evoy, says they aren't. Former great, Shawn Goldman attests to this as well. But are they in on the secret? They play a lot together, but that could go under both categories. Combine their total games played and you do have over 5000 games, thats a lot for one mafia lady to handle. Maybe Kallison is a mafia superwoman. Mafia dominatrix Raney seems to think Katie is nicer than Allison, wouldn't one person have the same personality? Unless its comparable to popstar princess britney - mental illness?

They ARE: Again, they play the same games, and rarely alone. They show affection for wearing sunglasses and bitching at the same people - and mafia facebookers lets be honest, that's getting a little old. Even people who have skyped with "them" at the same time doubt individual personalities.

Is this all just an elaborate hoax, or drama stirred up when people get bored. This, I'm afraid is a mystery that may never be solved. However it does bring up some interesting questions...was Makoto's winter distraction Katie, Allison, or Kallison? Who is it that Shawn Goldman may or may not "heart"? Why does Mexican med student Mckee like Allison but not Katie?

What is the truth? Only time will tell...

I'm just going to come out and say....if I was going to make a fake account 1. I would not call myself a dumb anything, and 2. I would not use a picture with a horribly unattractive penis.

Dumb Butt is causing quite a stir in a mere 18 games, as I'm sure he (I assume no self respecting woman would use such an unattractive picture) intended to do. The lovely Ifer has even started a thread about Mr. Butt in the mafia Facebook group. This has all the ingredients for a great troll, but Mr. Butt doesn't seem to be working their troll account to its' fullest extent. Dumb just sits and games and observes the drama that ensues over his profile picture.

As many stupid people that play mafia, one would think at least one good troll would come out of the mix (and no, Lu doesn't count). Well, maybe next time.

What makes mafia players so special? Their seemly lack of ability to learn from the past.

Lets take a little walk down mafia memory lane, shall we. Our lovely moderator JMF not too long ago held a 300 player private mafia game. It caused errors. Crashed servers. Pissed alot of people off. That game was eventually shut down by Siqi, and slowly mafia was back to it's usual self.

Fast forward to this week when the masterminds behind the amazingly brilliant, self proclaimed First Mafia Wedding, decided to host a little pre-wedding mafia game. 90 players later, mafia is back to it's error ridden self. Now, I don't like to give Alex credit for anything, because let's be honest, his ego does not to be inflated anymore, but he has it right in this post.

So thank you Big Hutch, for saying what we were all thinking.

Maybe Speed and Debs should rethink this marriage thing, it's not off to a good start.

Trolling in the new year

Mafia has been busy in the new year.

2008 has brought the first official Mafia Troll (and yes, that is the troll's handle). While this troll's profile picture is nothing short of terrifying, they are actually quite amusing to play games with. So welcome Mafia Troll, it's about damn time.

Lu's new years resolution (assuming he even had one) certainly was not to forgive and forget last years sins. Lu started out the new year with probably the most scandalous attack in mafia history. He posted nude photos of Lorenita, and after being banned, created a fake Lorenita account to keep displaying the photos. As we all now, Lu has an endless number of Facebook accounts, so even though he claims to have retired or is retiring, look out for more Lu drama in the new year.

Have you heard? Speed, the groom to the first (or second, or hundredth) mafia wedding, has been in a serious car accident. Gossip Girl wishes him a speedy recovery.

New Year, New Mafia

Greetings Facebook Mafia players. A new year us upon us. So what are the predictions for Mafia in 2008? Will Mafia even survive 2008?

It seems that the great Siqi pays little to no attention to mafia anymore (seriously, stop trying to make friends for sale happen). The application is plagued with errors, and while Mafia does have more users now, much of the loyalty for the application has faded, and many people are leaving.

But, is there a new era upon us? Due to the backlash from the Mafia Hall of Fame, many of the older players seem to be returning to advanced games. The newer players have retreated to their corner, and swear that advanced games are no good.

It seems like the establishment is back. Maybe mafia in the new year won't be new at all.

Of course "The First Mafia Wedding" can't actually be the first mafia wedding

For the most part, things have been running smoothly in the First Mafia Wedding group. That is until people decided to crash the party.

Multiple people are claiming that this first mafia wedding, is not actually the first mafia wedding. Of course, the wedding crashers, include the likes of Nikky. Because really, who is she to let an illegitimate first mafia wedding happen? Nikky claims that this is in fact not the first mafia wedding, because she was married to Billy G (what happened to LaPlume?) "ages" ago. Scruggs claims that he married Rogstad and Tina C in the old days (Tina is actually a member of the group, and has said nothing about this supposed wedding).

The real question is, who cares? Who cares if this is the first mafia wedding, or the hundredth, the group was created just to have fun. Jack Market (who is walking the lovely bride down the aisle) laid the smack down, reminding Nikky, and Scruggs, that while they may have had mafia weddings in the past, it was in no way on the scale of this wedding, or even public.

Mafia Aristocracy

Anyone else see Kris running his mouth about the so called Mafia Aristocracy? These attacks seem to be aimed at "old school" mafia players. What constitutes old school you ask? I have no idea, but, Brad (the mod) seems to have taken it upon himself to defend this Aristocracy.

According to the hall of famer, this class of mafia players play primarily advanced 10 player turbo games (which according to Kris take no skill), are super mean to new people who join these games, and think they are better then everyone else. Many of the newer players have complained about the way the older players play the game (remember the great schism over day 1 voting?), but mean? Not so sure. Many of them do certainly have egos though. Alex (also in the hall of fame) gets down right angry when people don't listen to him. The same can be said about his fellow hall of famer, Shawn.

So the real question is, is there really an aristocracy in mafia? One would certainly think not, until they read this post from the official mafia group. Mafia Elite? Interesting name for a faction, interesting name drop by the Big Hutch, interesting descriptions of its' members. Of course I was curious about this faction, so I did some digging. What did I come up with? Very little. There seems to be an unrelated MySpace group, and nothing showed up through a simple Facebook search.

It seems like the Mafia Elite have covered their tracks, but how well? Well, you'll just have to wail till next time.

Hall of Drama

Happy Holidays Facebook Mafia players. What would the holiday season be without a little drama? The Mafia Hall of Fame Facebook group has caused quite a stir. I'm pretty sure it even landed some otherwise deserving mafia players on this years naughty list.

There seems a sort of overthrow brewing within the group. Kris (the group's creator, master of ceremonies, and self inducted member of the hall of fame) is failing miserably to deal with it, so he's just sitting back and letting Kristen DC run her mouth (I mean, who is she anyway?). It seems that her spot on the ever growing selection committee has done something that SML can't seem to do, boost her ego. Who knew a spot in an unknown group, for an unknown game on Facebook would create such a self esteem boost.

Well, regardless, she has again chosen to take on Mel. It amazes me that she hasn't learned her lesson. Kristen will never win. Mel is a much more respected, and quite frankly, popular player. Many more people will jump to Mel's defense, leaving Kristen alone in her accusations. Additionally, anyone else find it amuses she even keeps these conversations? Leave it to mafia players to try and upstage Christmas. It seems as if there is a mafia wedding in the works. Yes, a mafia wedding.

Debs Blackie, and Speed Freak have announced their engagement. And why just announce an engagement when you can have an online wedding? Debs and Speed saw no reason. They have allowed people to fight it out for roles, instead of sticking with the mafia tradition of roles being randomly assigned. What a circus this wedding shall be. But, on the positive side, it should provide some great entertainment.

Facebook mafia has a higher divorce rate than Hollywood. Just review the long list of failed (or failing) relationships. Shawn and Baily. Alex and Baily. Megggg and Lu. JPRP and Brandon. Shawn and Jess. Makoto and Jeanetta. Mel and Jai. Megggg and Brandon. Nikky and Laplume. The list goes on.

So why do people keep using mafia as a dating service? I don't know, but it sure does provide alot of entertainment. Couples alliances and PDA can get people really riled up.

Mafia's latest couple....Samantha G and Scruggs. Any bets on how long that will last? Or how it will crash and burn?

The good news for these couples is death comes fast and often in mafia. It should be easy to move on.

The Sudan isn't the only one with a teddy bear problem

Who knew (other then the British teacher in the Sudan) that a teddy bear could cause such a fuss. When you are on the leader board, people know who you are. And Makoto decided to put that to the test last night.

The story goes something like this. Makoto said something about the world famous Mohammad teddy bear, and this upset several people. So of course, he changed his profile picture. Wesely cried wolf to a moderator, and the mod agreed with him. But what can the mods really do? Makoto's profile picture has nothing to do with the mafia application itself. You think Makoto's profile picture is offensive you have 2 options. 1. Report him to Facebook. 2. Block him, and you don't have to see the picture. But really, do you think these mafia players are smart enough to figure this out? Of course not.

Trouble in paradise?

So much love is found on mafia, and so much is lost. There seems to be alot of trouble in mafia paradise lately.

Megggg has seen the light (at least on one issue). She's joined the large, and prominent club of mafia players that don't like Lu. Will this be enough to save Megggg? Doubtful. She's alienated too many people, and burned too many bridges. But maybe, just maybe, she can find a friend in the other mafia bitches that are having trouble with their e-relationship. She should contact Nikky, or Baily, asap.

What does a moderator do?

If only I had a nickel for everytime someone has asked that in a game. The answer seems obvious. They moderate. They deal with problem players, set an example within the community, etc. While this is the answer that the overzealous newbies get, there is no reason to believe this is the correct answer.

But lets be perfectly honest here. Does anyone actually believe that the mods do anything other then produce a community of whiners who have no idea how to problem solve?

Not to mention, there are no rules. These mods basically ban at random. Some are worse then others, and some take this "power" that comes from being a mod in a very small online community, and let it go to their head.

And some can't handle this "power." It seems when people become a mod, very few of them stick around. There have been good losses, like Baily, and bad ones, like Zhong.

As these mods leave the community, it leaves people like Brad and JMF to do the moderating. Brad doesn't know his face from his ass, and proceeds to ban people for ridiculous reasons. He also likes to include an explanation the length of a book when he bans someone. At this point, everyone just thinks he's a pretentious ass, and well, he lives up to that label. And then, there's JMF. What does he do anyway? As far as anyone can tell, JMF does nothing at all.

So there you have it. Your friendly neighborhood moderators....who at best, make mafia a slightly worse place.

Hello mafia facebookers, Nikky seems to be parading herself all over the walls of every asinine male player there is. If you look closely there she is with her hearts, music notes, fiddles, toy boats, and tiny stars. Well maybe that is a small exaggeration, but she is everywhere. It's a wonder there aren't small icons for condoms and beds, they could come in handy.

So, does she really love all of these men? Certainly for someone who commands her sexy army to have respectable pictures and behave as ladies, she does not practice what she preaches. Perhaps the coined term of slutty mafia ladies is more appropriate, at least for her. The true ladies better keep an eye out for this slut.

Mafia is a game of chance...ok, not really, unless you're a newbie.

One of our major mafia egos has decided to put his real life on hold, to go play...cards. Yes, cards. Poker, blackjack, I have no idea. He has apparently apparently disabled his Facebook account. Is anyone upset by this? Not that I have seen. Most people just want to know why Neil isn't idling out of 10 games at a time.

E-polygamy, hot....or not.

We seem to have an e-polygamist on the prowl. Since Megggg can't go for a week without having some kind of fake online relationship, she is now "married" to Lu. As lovely as that union is, it seems Lu has a dedicated band of female followers who like to lay claim to Lucifer. Like in the real world, Big Brother (aka Facebook) doesn't allow one to be married to multiple people, but it seems there may be sever unofficial unions. Although, please, it's no Big Love.

This begs the question though, is Lorenita the female Lu? It's well known Lu has at least 3 accounts, who's to say he doesn't have a female version of himself? They are rarely (if ever) in games together, and if Lorenita is in a game, and someone says something bad about Lu, "she" freaks out. And when I say freaks out, I mean becomes suicidal, and refuses to play the game properly.

Is this another Sally Blue Hair situation? Only time will tell.

The egos have landed

Mafia brings out the worst in many people, this includes over sized egos. There are 3 main egos in mafia. Neil, Shawn and Alex.

Neil:
Neil is mainly known around the mafia community for joining hundreds of games and idling out to boost his ranking. He is now in the #1 spot, that no one thinks he deserves. Neil has not gained many followers during his reign, unlike others who have held the #1 spot. Fluke? Doubt it. The fact is, very few people like him. Truth be told, he's not good at the game, his ego is huge, and he's an ass on top of that.

Shawn:
Thinks he's the biggest bad ass in mafia. He always knows who the mafia is, if he is mafia and the cop checks him on night 1, it isn't "good job cop," it's "oh, like it's hard to check me on night 1." People in mafia seem to either love him or hate him. The people who do hate him, hate him because he "schooled" them at some point (because there is no other way to play mafia then the way Shawn plays). The best way to describe Shawn would be pompous ass.

Alex:
Spiderpig himself. Sure, some think he's a good mafia player. Others think he is annoying as fuck. His "spiderpig" senses are often completely wrong, yet people blindly follow him. Why you ask? Because the wrath of Alex when he is right, is not pretty. He can be an ass, and he certainly has one of the biggest egos on mafia.

But, have you heard? Alex's little brother is in town. A threat to Alex's reign? We can only hope. Little Hutch is certainly hotter then his older brother.

So, you know Meggggg's e-whatever...well, apparently he was never all that interested in Megggg. Why you ask? Not her vulgar personality, or even her overbearing bitchiness. The fact is, he likes men, for at least half the time. It doesn't seem to me that Megggg would really be that great of a beard. But, I'm glad that he has come to realize his true self, with or without Megggg's help.

Who shall the first post be about? Only the meanest girl on Mafia. Who is that you ask? Meggggggg of course.

The Megggg story began when she had an e-boyfriend, or finance, or husband (who knows which one), and apparently she did not like it when certain people voted for him. This caused an unprovoked attack in a game that her e-whatever was not even in. And so it began.

Apparently Meggggg is no longer with her e-whatever, which seems to have made her even more bitter. Oh, underage lust.
